A little background on me… While attending Southwest High in Minneapolis I helped manage a group of rental properties. This is when I first started to really learn about real estate. Also, it was a great honor to be in the International Baccalaureate program at a school consistently ranked as the best in Minnesota. In high school I was a multiyear captain of both the hockey and lacrosse teams. One of the reasons I moved to Duluth was because of all the hockey rinks!
I chose the University of Minnesota Duluth to pursue my degree in finance. Throughout my college career I received Dean’s List honors several times. While attending UMD I continued to play hockey on an intramurral team and also started a co-rec broomball team. After my freshman year I used money from my high school jobs and bought a house with a rental license in the Endion neighborhood. Currently, I am in the process of closing on two more rental properties.
What are some other things you might want to know about me?
I love all sports, enjoy being outdoors and had fun camping as a Boy Scout. I enjoy watching HGTV and CNBC to keep up to date on the latest trends affecting real estate and finances. From personal family experience I know the challenges of living with disabling diseases and how that can impact the kind of home one needs. I am also the very proud uncle of the most beautiful little girl named Lexi ~ she is 19 months old and a sweetheart!
