The Oracle of Omaha weighed in on the current housing situation on CNBC’s Squawk Box. Buffett is well known for his accuracy when it comes to predictions about the economy and markets. Although he is occasionally “too early” with his calls like in October of ’08 when he said to buy American stocks, he is rarely wrong. Buffett has said before about how his (and Berkshire Hathaway’s) wealth can sometimes not allow them to purchase small companies that would be a great investment for just about anyone else. This concept is also the reason it’s not possible for him to own single family properties- to many logistic and management challenges for assets merely in the hundreds of thousands of dollars each. Let us know your opinion and if you think Buffett has once again hit the nail on the head.
